Effective date: October 10, 2026
A-Wise Design (“A-Wise Design,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit awisedesign.com (the “Site”) or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a quote, book a consultation, or email or call us, you may share your name, email address, phone number, event type, event date, guest count, budget range, location or venue, and any details you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web host and the services that deliver parts of the Site (such as Google Fonts) may receive technical information when pages load, including your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on the Site.
Information stored in your browser
The Site saves a few small settings in your browser’s local storage so the Site works the way you chose: your accessibility preferences, whether you closed the quote pop-up, and, during our pre-launch period, whether you entered the preview password. These settings stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes and schedule your consultation.
- To plan, design, coordinate and deliver the services you book with us.
- To send service-related messages such as confirmations, timelines and invoices.
- To improve our services and the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We will only send you marketing messages if you ask to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run our business. For example, quote forms on the Site are delivered to our email inbox through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), and our email is provided by Google. These providers may process your information only to provide their services.
- With event vendors (such as venues, caterers, DJs or rental companies) when needed to coordinate your event, and only with your knowledge.
- When required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of A-Wise Design, our clients or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a sale or merger, subject to this policy.
Links and social media
The Site links to our Instagram and Facebook pages, Wed Society, the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce, Google reviews and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and client information only as long as needed to respond, provide our services, keep business records and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No website or email transmission is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through the Site’s forms.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing messages. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, email awisedesignnc@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for using your rights.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
